In today's lesson you will use Google Maps to one, find my place of peace map; and two, create a map to your own place of peace.

<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ll=42.433593,-86.042175&amp;spn=0.906116,1.760559&amp;t=m&amp;z=9&amp;msa=0&amp;msid=214807808634152827057.0004c68823448b002f3a7"></iframe><br /><small>View <a href="https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ll=42.433593,-86.042175&amp;spn=0.906116,1.760559&amp;t=m&amp;z=9&amp;msa=0&amp;msid=214807808634152827057.0004c68823448b002f3a7&amp;source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">South Haven - Place of Peace</a> in a larger map</small>

After looking and identifying where my place of peace is, create a new blog with the name of my place of peace, use this title "I Found Your Place of Peace, Ms. Fisher."  Secondly, create your own map to a place where you might or already find peace. To do this you must search for the location, once the map loads, look for the "my places" link and select. Within the new page you will find a link to "create map," click this link, enter a title and description, now click "save" and then click "done." You have created a map. You may follow the tools to make creative changes. Once done, click the "link" icon, copy and paste the link info into a new blog, title your blog "My Place of Peace."

UNICEF Hygiene in School Podcast

This is a very interesting subject and I hope that the trend spreads to all third world countries and home. In Nigeria, where over 150 million people are poor and struggling , a school has incorporated in the school curriculum the lesson of not only washing your hands but also , "the critical moments that matter," to wash hands. This issue was important enough that UNICEF funded the project to educate and provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene.
